Money Reimbursement Policies

IMPORTANT notice about reimbursements:
Interviajes does reimburse any money that had been given to us in order to prepay any tour or hotel service, but only if we still have the money. Once we do not have your money because we already prepaid your activities, then the excursion operator’s policies apply.
If Interviajes still has the money we collected through a wire transfer for any type of reservation and a cancellation occurs, we will reimburse the money but we will deduct any bank fee for the previous and subsequent wire transfer.
Excursion/Tour Operators:
As a regular norm, most (if not all) of the tour operators listed do not reimburse money in case of cancellations since some expenses have to be made prior to executing the activity. What they normally do is reprogram the activity to a future date. Nevertheless, in some cases some of them might do some exceptions and return the money if a cancellation occurs far from the check in date.
If for any reason there is a cancellation after we prepay your tour, please let us know as soon as possible to see if a penalty on their end applies.
To avoid dealing with any unexpected cancellation and reimbursements, we always try to prepay reservations as close to the excursion date as possible.
Hotels:
Same thing happens with hotels. When a reservation is only a couple of rooms, normally hotels are rather flexible with prepayments, cancellations or modifications, but when the reservation is made for a large number of rooms, hotels normally request prepayments with even 45 days prior to the check-in date and their cancellation and modification policies change from one hotel to another.
We will be more than happy to provide you the corresponding cancellation policies either for tours or hotels.
